About

A public notebook, not a finished manual.

Mostly Figured Out is a place for things I’m learning, building, questioning, and gradually making sense of.

I’m a software engineer with a background in backend systems, distributed systems, and cloud computing. These days, I’m spending my learning time on machine learning, AI, and the systems behind modern AI applications.

I write here partly because explaining something is one of the best ways I’ve found to discover whether I actually understand it. You’ll find notes on AI and machine learning, programming, software engineering, homelab projects, journaling, productivity, and whatever else happens to catch my attention.

This isn’t meant to be a collection of definitive tutorials. It’s closer to a public notebook: what I understand today, what confused me along the way, and what finally made something click.

Some of these ideas will evolve as I learn more. If you notice something inaccurate or have a better way of thinking about it, corrections and thoughtful feedback are welcome.
